NAME --------------------- David Larsen,George Massaker

DATE ---------------------- 4/8/00

TIMES --------------------- 8am-10:30am

CONDITIONS ------------- foggy and warm early..wind kicking up later

AREA FISHED ------------- State Park

FISHING METHOD ------- trolling

BAIT/LURES USED ------- Rapalas(fire tiger)

NOTES --------------------- Area not too crowded for opening day..trolled first fish after 5 minutes,a 14" pickerel. All in all got 10 pickerel, one about 24" and over 4lbs lost one even bigger at the boat(my fault,no leader used!!!!),2 crappies,2 small largemouth,2 perch and a 14" brook trout. The wind kicked up very hard and due to lack of control of boat we called it a day early. But even with the wind shortened day it was probably the best day fishing on the lake I have ever had!
