DATE ---------------------- 6/2/99
TIMES --------------------- 4:30am - noon
CONDITIONS ------------- Beautiful day, sunny w/a light breeze
AREA FISHED ------------- Byram Bay to Chestnut Point
FISHING METHOD ------- Live bait and trolling
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Herring and stick-baits
NOTES --------------------- We started out anchoring at Chestnut and got a nice smallmouth,a largemouth, a perch and a pickerel, then moved to Byram and got another pickerel. We tried trolling form there to Dow's for more bait, marked fish and got nothing (too weedy). With more bait we tried drifting the herring at the depth we marked fish(about 12-16 feet down). I lost the first two hits (one brown right at the boat) then we boated 4 ranging from 11-15 inches in length.
