Lake Hopatcong Fish Stocking
On Saturday, April 26, 2014 the club float stocked over 1200 Trout from Dows Boat Rental.
This is 20% more fish and larger fish then we stocked last year. We will also stock three - 3 to 8 lbs trophy size fish. 
On Tuesday, October 22,2013 Knee Deep Club members Jim Welsh and Lou Marcucci float stocked 2,600 8 to 12 inch Muskies into Lake Hopatcong.
The Muskies were raised at the Division of Fish & Wildlife's Hackettstown Hatchery.
On Thursday, October 17,2013 Knee Deep Club members Jim Welsh, Ted Regetz, Jim Mahoney and Lou Marcucci float stocked 1,000 six to eight inch Channel Catfish in Lake Hopatcong. The stocking of Channel Catfish is an on going effort of the club to make Lake Hopatcong the premier fish destation in the state. The fish were purchased with funds from the clubs stocking fund from Musky Trout Hatchery in Asbury N.J. The Division of Fish & Wildlife also stocks Hopatcong with Channel Catfish.
2013 - ON FRIDAY JULY 27 & THURSDAY AUGUST 1 KNEE DEEP CLUB MEMBERS FLOAT STOCKED A TOTAL OF 27,000 FOUR INCH, HYBRID STRIPED BASS AND 3,000 4 TO 6 INCH, WALLEYE INTO LAKE HOPATCONG
