NOTES --------------------- Had a great afternoon Saturday so I decided to go out late today.Nothing at Elba so I went back to Great Cove in 25 ft of water.Picked up a Walleye then a small striper or two.Hooked up with what I thought was another striper but when I went to net him saw it was a big Smallie.Put him in the live well for a weigh in later then the stripers came and never left.Had to have about 12-15 in the boat before the herring ran out. Went to Dow`s and was surprised to see the smallie was 4 lbs 4 oz.(CPR) Was the best two days fishing any where I can remember.

AREA FISHED ------------- Eba point, Cow Tongue Point
WATER TEMPERATURE-- 67 f
FISHING METHOD ------- anchor and slow drift, 25 feet down, size 1/0 hooks
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Herring
NOTES --------------------- First time out on the lake as a new member of KDC. We started catching fish around 7am. The Hybrids were small. We caught three Hybrids under 8 inches, one 15+ inches and a 10 inch cat. We landed a nice fat one. We catch and release and didn't take the time to weigh the fish. I estimate the fat Hybrid caught off of Cow Tongue Point about to be just over 15 inches.
