WATER TEMPERATURE-- Warmest I found was 46.1
FISHING METHOD ------- Flatline Trolling
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Rapalas and Bombers
NOTES --------------------- Tried trolling on my first day out with minimal success. There were lots of people near Brady's and I saw a few fish come up as I passed. I did land one big pickerel in Henderson, where the water was almost 2 degrees colder than Woodport. Nice to be back out though, although the wind eventually got the best of me.

NOTES --------------------- Theres only one word to say so far this open water season and thats CRAPPIE!! Thare are crappies in just about every location that is 5 ft of water and less. The group of guys that i fish with and myself look forward to the outstanding perch run that this lake holds. We found the perch but not in any true amount. Instead we found some slab Crappies,Pickeral,Bass,Sunfish, and i even caught a nice brown trout. Trout must have been from the early state stockings. I dont know if its the high water or the great spring weather we have been blessed with, but all i know is that the lake is on. The switch has been flicked!
