AREA FISHED ------------- Pinetree Point, Byram, Chestnut Point, Pickerel Point (in that order)
WATER TEMPERATURE-- 64 degrees
FISHING METHOD ------- 2 Anchors
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Live Herring
NOTES --------------------- We couldn't seem to get it going today. Caught two fat perch in 5 minutes when we anchored at Pinetree, then nothing. Moved around a bit and spent the last two hours off Pickerel Point. It seemed like the fish woke up when the wind shifted. Had a few bites and saw fish breaking the surface. Landed one nice pickerel, but by that point we were out of bait and out of time. Great day though, beautiful weather and a noticeable absence of jet skis and powerboats since the last time I was out.
