TIMES --------------------- 4:00 till 9:00 pm
CONDITIONS ------------- windy, warm
AREA FISHED ------------- Great Cove, Nolan's Point, between the islands
WATER TEMPERATURE-- 76
FISHING METHOD ------- trolling; anchored with bait
BAIT/LURES USED ------- big spoons and herring
NOTES --------------------- There was too much wind and boat traffic when I first got out so I decided to troll for muskies until it calmed down later. I had a nice tiger muskie take 3 swipes at my lure until he finally got it. Beautiful 41" fish quickly released after a cell phone pic. Anchored up around 6 off Nolans and caught 11 smallmouths, the biggest being 18". Drifted in Great cove after dark for one small striper. Lots of fun.

CONDITIONS ------------- very windy!
AREA FISHED ------------- cove near Dows bait shop of an old dock
FISHING METHOD ------- live bait
BAIT/LURES USED ------- herring
NOTES --------------------- It was very windy. It was slow at first. About an hour in I got a small pickerel of a bottom rig. We had trouble on the bobbers because there were weeds on top. The boat traffic made it choppy as the ocean!!!!!!

AREA FISHED ------------- Yacht Club, Henderson, Byram
WATER TEMPERATURE-- 73
FISHING METHOD ------- Anchored Up
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Herring
NOTES --------------------- We didn't have a bite off the Yacht Club or Henderson, but we did in the back of Byram. We should have went there first. Got a few fish, but the highlight was undoubtedly watching my girlfriend land a 5-lb. Walleye, and the fish was successfully returned to the lake. Great day, but the boat traffic eventually got the best of us. Thanks Lou!!!
