NOTES --------------------- Tough conditions tonight tried trolling ended up throwing lures managed 7 Pickeral and 1 Bass first time for me fishing with the club President learned a lot watching him cast and work those lures look foward to the next time we go out. Anyway its just nice to get out on the water and if you catch anything its a bonus.

NOTES --------------------- for 3rd trip in a row lou marcucci put us on the trout!!!!!!!!! we had over 20 browns and 7 rainbows.3 of the browns were over 2 lbs.4 of the rainbows had teeth marks from muskys or big pickerel.smallmouth bass that don caught was over 3 lbs.lou marcucci boat is down so he is looking for someone else to fish with as pete cusick catches more than him every time.don outfished me by at least 4 to 1 one so i know the feeling.

NOTES --------------------- Took my father out on a beautiful day. We didn't have any luck between the islands, but did in Byram. We boated 2 Browns and 2 Rainbows between the two of us. I lost a bigger Rainbow at the boat. Dad added a 20-inch pickeral, a small bass and a small perch.

It was nice meeting you Lou!! Hope to see you on the lake again soon.

NOTES --------------------- 9 browns and two rainbows.we passed on turkey hunting because too hot.soon as wind picked up fish turned off.don lost a huge trout when it jumped and threw the pheobe.lou marcucci wasn't around so we went back to his hotspot between the islands.water is still down three feet so be careful of rocks.we hit one that stopped us fast spilling tackle in bottom of the boat.good thing both of us were sitting when it happened.yes we had our life jackets on!!!!!!

NOTES --------------------- What a wind. Always changing speed and direction. Never had wind in my face and my back at the same time so much. Byram was cold and didn't warm all day. Had to troll all metal in some places cause of the depth. Caught 4 browns in river styxx about 2lbs each and all had bird attack marks. Caught 17 browns, 4rainbows, 2brookies, 6pickerel 1largemouthand a yellow perch.

NOTES --------------------- Started slow till the warmed up 1 degree. Caught 3browns, 6 raibows and a brookie. Largest was a 3lb 4oz rainbow. When the fishing was slow I saw 2 birds flying from an area with state size trout. Went to that area and caught 4 trout. Still the same speed. The fish liked the lures very far back from boat.

NOTES --------------------- started early this morning between islands, caught a few pickeral. as the day progressed the sun came out and raised the water temp. caught 3 trout and 1 crappie. "EDDIE" leave some trout for everybody else. LOL.

NOTES --------------------- first hour and a half water was cold and no hits. very windy and hard to troll. Water warmed by .8 degrees and the fun started. Trolling I caught 18rainbows, 12browns, 3pickerel and 1crappie. The speed was the old magic of 2.4 mph. Fish caught shallow 3 to 5 feet and deep in 18 to 20feet of water. Did a little live bait fishing and caught 25 crappie and 2 rainbows. What a great day. Had the lake to myself. hope to try other spots on thursday. Water still low and the odd rock or stump could ruin your day. Be careful.

NOTES --------------------- was out early morning with my brother-in-law frank and trolled near islands in about 3.5ft of water and caught 2 nice pickeral, 2 trout, and a 7LB 5OZ striper. in the afternoon casting and trolling in great cove near dows produced 10 really nice trout with one of them being about 2.5LB.
