NOTES --------------------- for 3rd trip in a row lou marcucci put us on the trout!!!!!!!!! we had over 20 browns and 7 rainbows.3 of the browns were over 2 lbs.4 of the rainbows had teeth marks from muskys or big pickerel.smallmouth bass that don caught was over 3 lbs.lou marcucci boat is down so he is looking for someone else to fish with as pete cusick catches more than him every time.don outfished me by at least 4 to 1 one so i know the feeling.

NOTES --------------------- What a wind. Always changing speed and direction. Never had wind in my face and my back at the same time so much. Byram was cold and didn't warm all day. Had to troll all metal in some places cause of the depth. Caught 4 browns in river styxx about 2lbs each and all had bird attack marks. Caught 17 browns, 4rainbows, 2brookies, 6pickerel 1largemouthand a yellow perch.

When the fishing was slow I saw 2 birds flying from an area with state size trout. Went to that area and caught 4 trout. Still the same speed. The fish liked the lures very far back from boat.

NOTES --------------------- first hour and a half water was cold and no hits. very windy and hard to troll. Water warmed by .8 degrees and the fun started. Trolling I caught 18rainbows, 12browns, 3pickerel and 1crappie. The speed was the old magic of 2.4 mph. Fish caught shallow 3 to 5 feet and deep in 18 to 20feet of water. Did a little live bait fishing and caught 25 crappie and 2 rainbows. What a great day. Had the lake to myself. hope to try other spots on thursday. Water still low and the odd rock or stump could ruin your day. Be careful.
