TIMES --------------------- 7:30PM till 10:30PM
CONDITIONS ------------- Warm, dark, calm
AREA FISHED ------------- Near Dow's boat docks
WATER TEMPERATURE-- Surface at 77 deg F
FISHING METHOD ------- Adjustable bobber, slip sinkers, live line
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Live herring, dead herring, cut herring, hot dogs
NOTES --------------------- Just before dark, Chris and I decided to fish near Ed Mackin's favorite fishing hole, Dow's boat docks. Several others must have been thinking the same because between the Jefferson House and Dow's there was little room. We even had the "Shut Up and Fish& captained by Joe Tekula anchored up.. What a beautiful night, warm with no wind, no wakes, a sandwich, a soda or a beer. We even managed to catch a few wisker heads. Then all of a sudden, over the sounds of gayety and music coming from the Jefferson House we heard a hoot and holler from, you guessed it, Ed Mackin, who just pulled a big channel out from under Dow's boat docks. Around 10 PM most everyone began to leave. After a big tangle, even I decided to find my way to my bedroom.
