NOTES --------------------- Got to shake down Chris's new boat in some Bearing Sea wheather today and it ran like a top. Total tally: 3 knee deep browns, 5 state browns, 3 pickerel, 1 bass, and a perch. Catch of the day was a 21 inch 4 1/2 lb state brown that fought like a salmon. Awesome day on the water despite the 35 mph gusts and rouge waves.

NOTES --------------------- finally calm conditions!!! ray swedeski and i caught at least 25 trout most state fish and two kdc browns.seemed fish were right on top feeding on surface bugs.a big smallmouth and two large walleyes and not a pickerel all day added to the fun.my largest brown trout tipped the scales at 5 lbs good enough for 3 rd place so far in yearlong contest.

NOTES --------------------- Cold cloudy starte. When the sun came out I caught and when I found 41 degree water. Twenty browns and 1 rainbow. Caught my first nine state fish. Speed was 2.0 to 2.3 mph. Lost a lot of fish because of doubles and triples. Largest brown just over 2 lbs.

NOTES --------------------- What a day to be able to fish in the worst rain storm of the year. The wind wasnt bad, the rain was unbelievable. The total went as 5 trout(4KDC,1Statee), 5pickeral, 1 perch. fishing wasnt that bad but, I think i was better off with my scooba gear.

NOTES --------------------- Started trolling both a gold and a silver Pheobe, but the silver seemed to be the ticket so went to all silver. Caught 6 trout and a 13 inch walleye. 5 knee deep and a nice 22 inch state rainbow. Also had about 5 hit and misses. All fish were caught trolling between 2.0 and 2.4 mph and in less than 10 ft of water. Talked to a bunch of bass fisherman and most were without a hit. Awesome first day on the lake, can't wait till the water starts to warm up a little...

NOTES --------------------- The day started off bad loosing a big trout in the first seconds of the fishing trip. We trolled alot in the areas out of the wind and got 7 trout before noon(2KDC,5 Statees).Cant count the amount of shorthits or on-offs we had.Then we screwed around in the wind and got some decent wind burn and some very small pickeral.Then as the afternoon afternoon bite started we totaled 10 more trout(1 Statee,9 KDC). The final total went 17 trout(5 Rainbows,2 Brookes,10 Browns),7 pickeral(biggest was 24 inch),and 2 perch.All in all it was a good day but really had to work for the fish.

I dont count the ones we lost. All that I spoke to on the lake seemed to be catching trout, so thats a good thing. Great to be back on the boat, again.
