NOTES --------------------- Trolled the weedline. Caught one Muskie, estimate 18-20 lbs between Halsey and Racoon in 11 feet of water. No other hits. Jigged for about and hour with Sassy Shads. Nothing.

NOTES --------------------- I managed to put in 30 hours already so far this month, with only one 36 inch fish to show for it. Muskie fishing sure can be pretty discouraging at times. Here's a picture of some surface "funk" I trolled through:
I believe its algea brought to the surface by the lake turning over during the last several weeks. Most boats are off the water so the lake is pretty quiet, but several anglers are jigging the deep water for panfish, walleye, and stripers.
