Fishing was awesome, big perch getting ready to spawn. Caught alot! Ice may not last that long with this rain coming. Again, nice meeting the Mackin family and sharing all those fishing stories. Good luck to you guys!

NOTES --------------------- Well the day couldn't have been any better today.I had a delayed opening from school in the morning. Then when i went fishing in the afternoon i hooked a muskie jigging. WHAT A FIGHT! I was using a 6inch hole and that was a joke. I fought the muskie for about 5 minutes. I finally got him next to the hole. With the size of my hole I could only see the back of his head. I got him just facing the hole and he was big. Probly 40+ inch and probly 20-30 pounds. It looked like a small alligator. It was just BIG! Butt like every big fish in the lake he got away. It cut my line at the hole.

We certianly found some fish "STRIPERS". We caught them in spirts. The came and went all day. We had some nice perch in with them. Excellent fish jigging. What a fight! Most averaged between 2-5lbs.!
