TIMES --------------------- 7-10pm

CONDITIONS ------------- windy and cool

AREA FISHED ------------- flats

WATER TEMPERATURE-- 60

FISHING METHOD ------- troll

BAIT/LURES USED ------- Rapalas

NOTES --------------------- I got a pickerel and a largemouth early, then 3 walleye and 3 stripers late. I had doubles twice, lost 1 of those 4 fish and a lure when I tried to hoist it over the rail because the striper was still in the net (I won't be doing that again). This was the biggest at 6lbs.8oz. 24 inches:

striper

CONDITIONS ------------- cloudy-windy-drizzle late

AREA FISHED ------------- flats

WATER TEMPERATURE-- main lake 50, flats 59-62

FISHING METHOD ------- troll

BAIT/LURES USED ------- Rapalas and Phoebes

NOTES --------------------- I started trolling small lures for trout with no luck but got 5 pickerel, 3 largemouth, and an 18 inch striper so I was pretty happy even with getting blanked on the trout. At dusk I switched to bigger Rapalas and got all kinds of fish: another pickerel and a 22 inch walleye before it got dark, then after dark a crappie, a bullhead, a small muskie, 2 more walleye (18 and 23 inches), and a 22 inch striper. The striper went nuts in the shallow water, jumping out of the water twice and gave a nice fight on the light tackle.
