NOTES --------------------- Fished pine tree for about an hour and a half and didnt get much with all the boat traffic. Then once the traffic settled a little i took a quick ride to Cow tounge and anchored up on the drop off. First 5 minutes caught a crappie and didnt get much for another hour besides a few rock bass, then i hooked up with 3 more crappie and a nice walleye within the last hour.

NOTES --------------------- Stew Lant contest was great. Last fish of the day could not be weighed in for the contest, a 37 inch 19lb. Tiger Muskie on a 4inch herring.

NOTES --------------------- John got the first bait in and before he could get his second one in he had a largmouth and the action did not stop until we ran out of bait just berore 8PM. Finished up with seven Stripers the two largest around 6 pounds each, three largemouths, five Walleye,a four pound pickerel a crappie and many perch.

NOTES --------------------- Saw very little bait on depth sounder. Fish I marked were deep. Caught 2 browns at 16 and 20 ft. Got 3 small hybreds at 10 to 14ft down. Then I tried to find pickerel but weeds made trolling impossible. Stoped and drifted and got 5 pickerel casting jerk baits. Finally got my 100th trout today.

NOTES --------------------- Showed my friend Henry from Mexico fishing LK Hopatcong style. Started off with 2 nice pickerels,1 LMB,2 stripers one over 7lbs many large perch. Ran out herring, but caught a 15in. rainbow on a worm.

NOTES --------------------- First and only fish came soon after I started at Racoon Island, a nice 5lb Walleye on the Ernie. Should have stayed in Byram the main lake was loaded with floating weed, spent more time cleaning lures than fishing.

CONDITIONS ------------- Overcast, changing to sunny skies with mild wind.

AREA FISHED ------------- Van Every Cove(Lee's County Park) to Raccoon Island, across to Sunken Island and down to Davis Cove.

WATER TEMPERATURE -- 

FISHING METHOD ------- Trolling and casting

BAIT/LURES USED ------- Rapalas, roadrunner jigs and spinnerbaits.

NOTES --------------------- No big wakes...no big fish! 24 pickerel all caught trolling and casting from 6 to 12 feet down. The fish, though small, were aggressively taking the lures deep so I crimped all the barbs to facilitate their release. ALL FISH RELEASED.

NOTES --------------------- I caught a 3.1lb striper and a 1lb Rock Bass on the stickbait . . . Travis caught a 4.6lb striper and a 3.3lb Pickerel on the crankbait. Caught all the fish within the first 90 minutes of fishing then nothing the rest of the trip.

NOTES --------------------- A.M.Pickerel only, afterlunch went to Byram cove. 1 16" small mouth 1 15" tiger trout, best of all a 5lb 11 oz hybrid striper 23 1/2" a three hourlunch is a little long, but I was hoping the winds would give way,no such luck.
