DATE ---------------------- 3/30

TIMES --------------------- 8-11am

CONDITIONS ------------- rain and snow

AREA FISHED ------------- south end

FISHING METHOD ------- trolling

BAIT/LURES USED ------- stick baits

NOTES --------------------- I was itching to get out even if it was cold and wet. Trolled the weed flats with shallow running baits and landed three pickerel. The rain and wind picked up then turned to snow so I bailed. It was a great year for ice fishing but it felt good to be out on the boat again. Does anyone know why the state park boat ramp is closed?

One member heard the State Park ramp was closed due to tighter security as a result of Homeland Security and this has been confirmed.
