TIMES --------------------- 2:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.

CONDITIONS ------------- unstable, cool and overcast

AREA FISHED ------------- Nolan's Point to Raccoon Island

FISHING METHOD ------- Trolling and casting

BAIT/LURES USED ------- Spoonplugs, rapalas and jump baits

NOTES --------------------- Perch, pickerel, crappies, largemouths, smallmouths and hybrids. A lot of time was spent up on the shallow flats trolling and casting, but the fish that I could find were scattered. Trolling the main breakline from Nolan's Point to Raccoon Island down to a depth of 20 feet produced the better fish (largemouths to 4 lbs., smallmouths to 3 lbs. and hybrids to 7 lbs.). All straggler fishing. The speed was fast. ALL FISH QUICKLY RELEASED!

TIMES --------------------- 4:30p-8:00p

CONDITIONS ------------- Sunny and warm with a slight breeze

AREA FISHED ------------- All over

FISHING METHOD ------- Trolling

BAIT/LURES USED ------- Spinners

NOTES --------------------- While waiting at the dock I picked up 4 small pickerel, a small largemouth and several perch. The rest of the time was spent trolling with the occasional perch and pickrel brought on board. We did get 1 trout about 10" with no tag which we released. Not a whole lot of boats out on the lake. Looks like a lot of people got scared off by the lousy weather in the morning. All in all a nice day.

TIMES --------------------- 1:00pm-5:00pm

CONDITIONS ------------- Hazy, hot and humid

AREA FISHED ------------- Great Cove off of dock

FISHING METHOD ------- Casting baby nightcrawlers and rat l traps.

BAIT/LURES USED ------- Baby nightcrawlers and blue/chrome rat l trap.

NOTES --------------------- Caught lots of yellow perch and bluegills, which was expected, but I also hooked into and landed a 14" white perch, which was totally unexpected. It's pretty cool to catch something that you've only caught 2 or 3 times in your life, especially when it's a large fish. Anyway, good luck and good fishin' to all!
