FISHING METHOD ------- live bait
BAIT/LURES USED ------- herring
NOTES --------------------- Started out at Pine Tree Point and got into a school (?) of bullheads. As fast as I got bait in the water I had a bullhead, on live and dead herring. Caught and released 20 or more and some were nice size. Lots of fun on light tackle. Moved accross to Sunrise Point and got into a school of medium sized Hybrids (2-3+ lbs) that finished off my bait. Fished the shoreline to Sunken Island with Carolina rigged Gulp worms and caught a couple of nice Largemouths. Got chased off the lake by "tubers" and assorted other large water craft by 2 pm. Good day out, lots of action.

FISHING METHOD ------- Trolling
BAIT/LURES USED ------- Rapala
NOTES --------------------- I was trolling between the islands at about 2 Pm when a striper blitz of 25-50 fish appeared in front of me. I quickly reeled in and cast out and had the shad rap slammed. After a 5 minute battle I netted a 6 pound beauty. By the time I cast again they were gone. I've fished the lake for many years and never seen a blitz by stripers at this time of the day before. Made my day.
